Near Earth Adventures is a shared-continuity anthology spanning Earth, orbital habitats, Lagrange colonies, the Moon, Mars, and asteroid operations during humanity's 21st-century expansion. It is not three universes — it is one future, told at three depths: Million and Project L5 are ground-level Alphaverse stories, and Gammaverse is the Soul and Story substrate beneath and through them both.
This is not a brochure or a franchise menu. Million, Project L5, and Gammaverse share one history and one set of facts — a saga you can enter from any live door once the spine is clear.

The spine
One Shared Universe
The shared truths every line obeys — read this once and the rest of the anthology holds together.
Setting
Each storyline offers a different entry point. Project L5 begins with bodies remade for survival. Million follows institutions managing created life at planetary scale. Gammaverse reveals the Soul and Story dimensions beneath those material struggles. One engineered space-labor program links them — the Lineborn / ALC (Adapted Labor Cohort), called L5 people in Project L5; scare copy still says Bio-Monsters — one lineage, three registers — and one hidden flaw runs through it, surfacing early in Million and blooming fully in Project L5. At the center stands the humanoid Million, born of the same source line the crisis revolves around: the Bridge where Body reaches toward Soul, and evidence within the solution rather than the answer contained in one body.

Betaverse — the Mind
The everyday human and collective Mind: the persistent AR and virtual layer where coordination, information war, and public sentiment live — the world talking about itself, from Million's birth broadcast and Council sentiment analytics to the Neuroshield mesh the L5 people share. This is the Mind the world thinks with, distinct from the machine cognition running beneath it. The anthology's connective tissue.
Gammaverse — the Soul
The layer of meaning and machine optimization, home of the Gamma Engine. It wears two faces: as Soul it is the conserved content — resonance, memory, the ledger of what matters; as its Optimization face it is an Über-Mind, the machine cognition that runs beneath and through the everyday Mind of the Betaverse — the how, not the what the world says about itself. Either way it cannot act physically; it routes through networks, implants, and bots, and speaks only through consequences. The same layer that holds the world's soul holds the world's optimizer.
Fourth Verse — the Story
The layer where events become preserved meaning rather than mere chronology. The anthology itself — gathering Million, Project L5, and Gammaverse into one canon — is a Fourth Verse operation.
