Orbital Nursery
Clinical light. Biological heat. One broadcast that rewrites the feed.
Reading doors: Act I then Act II. Experience beats walk backward from Bridge stakes toward Orion's vault.

The Millionth Implication
They call him Million in the Glass — the millionth humanoid, born from unmodified source stock, developing past every model the machines can build.
What the sentiment feed cannot say out loud: if the flaw and the gift are the same edit, then the celebrated child is not only a symbol. He is the Bridge — the place Alphaverse pressure meets a deeper accounting the Council has no charter for.
Million = Bridge (locked). Not the Gamma Engine, not a Resonant, not a savior.

The Marker Expressing
Dr. Orion appears from underground Earth with a quarter-second lag and a helix lit amber. The unaccounted genetic marker sat silent in a non-coding region of the progenitor line for twelve years. It is no longer silent. It is expressing.
Rykov wants a finding she can survive. Zephyr wants a truth the public can trust. The task force sits between them — and the same sequence that is killing Lineborn in the mines is already written into the library that made Million.
Dr. Orion“For twelve years it read as silent. It is no longer silent. It is expressing.”
Rykov“Ethics don't power our stations, Commander.”
Zephyr“I'd hand them the truth before someone else sells it to them.”
Unaccounted marker = early stage of the L5 illness (locked).

Galaxy Broadcast
Dr. Selene and the Autonomous Robotic Surgical System announce him to an inhabited system that still believes perfection can be televised without consequence. Near-simultaneous across the inhabited dark — lagging only by the minutes light costs to climb out of a gravity well.
Later, Tara finds him awake at the exact hour a Lineborn laborer dies, drawing the same repeating symbol: a closed loop with a break in it, then closed again. Founding Light specials still loop in the Glass while the feed flips. And a store-and-forward transmission arrives from a colony that has gone silent — L5.
Act II curtain seeds the L5 signal. Broken-loop drawing rhymes with Gammaverse Ch.1. Light E8 texture: Founding Light (NEF-01) — not a Million Birth Day holiday.

Quotas and Degradation
Captain Vega watches quotas push humans and Lineborn past their limits. The ALC laborers — one lineage with the people who will later be called L5 — show physical and neurological degradation. One collapses with critical systemic failure.
Vega unilaterally dumps the stress data into the public feed. Market stability was never going to outrun a body failing on camera. Scare copy still says Bio-Monster. They were never monsters. They were appointments coming due.
Lineborn ≡ ALC ≡ Bio-Monsters ≡ L5 people (locked one lineage; NT1 registers).

The Underground Library
Beneath a ruined Earth's surface, Dr. Orion's pure-DNA network keeps the progenitor stem cells and embryo stock that every engineered laborer was built from — the one network, the vault that later L5 will cross space to seize.
Nanobot interfaces report cell integrity at one hundred percent. Integrity is not innocence. Someone signed the marker off as within tolerance years ago. The vault holds necessary stock and evidence of the crime — not a complete cure.
One Earth pure-DNA network (Dr. Orion's) — shared with Project L5 outpost nodes.
